Iran's President Announces Country's Firm Position in War Against the US and Israel

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that his country is always ready for dialogue, but attempts to force Tehran to capitulate are doomed to failure, Anadolu reports.

According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian made the statement during a visit to an emergency services center in Tehran.

He criticized "double standards" in the international system, emphasizing that any military attacks against countries are contrary to generally accepted international principles, and that the actions of the US and Israel against Iran are illegal.

The Iranian President noted that US and Israeli attacks also kill civilians and destroy civilian objects.

"What justification can international law and humanitarian principles have for targeting children, scientists, and destroying schools and hospitals?" he asked.

Pezeshkian emphasized that despite the attacks, Iran maintains its "principled position."

"Iran does not seek war or instability and has always emphasized the importance of dialogue and constructive engagement with various countries. However, attempts to force the country into capitulation are doomed to failure. The Iranian people will never accept such an approach," he stated.
